Emerging Prophets San Diego is a fervent and gifted community committed to gathering, practicing, and maturing their prophetic gift to boldly advance the Kingdom of God. With a steadfast emphasis on the power of unity in prayer and a clear understanding of biblical wisdom, they stand in the gap, interceding for their region and nation by boldly taking territories for God's glory.
Sherry's extraordinary gift has supported numerous 7-8 figure businesses as well as hundreds of individuals and families over the years. She builds and develops prayer teams and leaders to foster advancement and transformation. Her favorite pastime is designing on Canva and using her photography skills to create beautiful portraits for loved ones. Sherry lives with her husband of 23 years, Frank, in San Diego county. They have a son and daughter who they enjoy championing their dreams with the Lord. As a family they enjoy movies, theatrical shows, sports, cafe's and of course their local church.
KIM GJONOVICH
Director-Emerging Prophets-Mission Viejo
Emerging Prophets Orange County is a Holy Spirit-led coaching style school where you can discover if you are called to be a prophet. This school is an encounter-oriented, activation style training that equips you to know where your sphere of influence is, what kind of a prophet you are, and teaches you the gifts and character needed to grow into a healthy and trustworthy new covenant prophet.
Kim is an ordained minister, speaker, and marketplace leader. She serves on the executive team for Kingdom Women International (KWI) and oversees the prophetic ministry. She has co-authored a discipleship training curriculum called The Journey. Kim has a passion to train and equip others to hear the voice of the Lord and experience His presence. She previously was part of a church planting team in Rancho Santa Margarita. She also served as a leader in women's ministry at Vineyard Community Church. She is a trusted prophetic voice and teacher with a passion to see others experience Jesus's power and love in a profound tangible way. As a leader Kim counsels, encourages, and launches people into the fullness of their God-given destinies and calling. She lives with her husband and her 3 children in Orange County.

I joined Emerging Prophets as a former pastor and leader. What became evident was the necessity to relinquish all titles and don the cloak of humility.This transition wasn't smooth, given my inclination to believe I held solutions for numerous issues. It was a time to step back and soak in simultaneously. I wasn't the problem-solver; I was the learner. My flesh resisted, but my spirit recognized that a transformative journey lay ahead. These two years with Emerging Prophets have constituted a phase of tremendous expansion, involving the unlearning of habits and behaviors that had kept me ensnared in unhealthy patterns.With each passing year, the growth was accompanied by gifts, insights and acceleration I was guided and mentored by some of the finest. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is there childcare provided?
The So Cal EP Taste and See Event is for adults 18 and over. We will not have childcare available.
What if I am not sure I am called to be a prophet? Should I still attend?
Yes! This is why the school exists! We want to help you discover the keys to knowing and understanding the identity, calling and metron of an office prophet and to develop the best path for a healthy, mature prophet while on the journey from calling to office. You will learn how to grow in the gift of prophecy and become a trusted prophetic voice even if you aren't sure if you are called to the office yet.
What if I don't know if I have the gift of prophecy?Should I still attend?
"Let love be your highest goal! But you should also desire the special abilities the Spirit gives—especially the ability to prophesy." 1 Cor 14:1
According to 1 Corinthians 14:1, the apostle Paul tells believers to desire and pursue the gifts of the Spirit, and goes as far as to say particularly the gift of prophecy. This shows us that prophecy is a gift for all followers of Christ. Our Father would not ask us to pursue a gift He in fact has not made available to us. Even if you are unsure whether you are called as a prophet, attending Emerging Prophets events and training can provide a nurturing and supportive environment to explore and develop any prophetic gifting within you.
I am pretty confident that I am called to be a prophet. Should I attend the Event?
Yes! We will not only consider the various ways to test your calling, but the journey of a called prophet into the authority of the office prophet can be as long as 30 years! Just look at the story of Joseph or David in the bible. This School can help to accelerate your journey, avoiding the common pitfalls along the way. Everyone can be refined if they are humble and teachable to go through that process. What better way than to do it in a supportive community with other prophets?
Will this event be recorded? Will there be a replay?
Although portions of this event may be recorded, this is a live in person event only and there will be no replays.
I am a Pastor. How can this Taste and See Event help me?
We have a strong affinity for collaborating with local churches led by pastors who possess honor for prophetic insights, providing them with the opportunity to enhance their congregation's well-being. Emerging Prophets (EP) is uniquely equipped to facilitate the healing journey for your members, and we strongly advocate for their consistent participation in their respective church communities. Our ultimate aim is to offer support to pastors, thereby inviting you to explore the ways in which we can be of assistance.
I am already a local leader. Why do I need EP?
Honoring leaders is second nature to directors of EP schools! If you attend an event and we have not met, then please introduce yourself! Whether attending events or deciding to be mentored, being connected to a community dedicated to prophetic maturation can provide accountability, encouragement, and valuable opportunities for collaboration and collective growth. Currently we have many Pastors and Leaders within the school. Having a conversation with the local EP Director will help address concerns and bring peace as you prayerfully consider a deeper connection to the program.
I'm not sure this is Biblical?
There are at minimum 21 verses in the New Testament that speak of the prophetic and prophets. The New Testament was not shy to speak of such a gift and responsibility because there is such a great purpose in the gifting and office of Prophets. We know that prophets are needed today as much as Pastors and Evangelists because Ephesians 4:11-16 explains that Christ himself gave this responsibility to leaders so we would help prepare the body of Christ for His return. He is coming back for a unified, mature and "of age" bride who is perfected to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Him! For this reason, leaders must understand the biblical responsibility and purpose of equipping the saints so unity and maturity are achieved in oneness. We invite you to come, see and explore the Word of God concerning the biblical applications of the prophetic gifting and role of Prophets.
Is there a fee for this Event?
This event is free of charge to all of the general public. The School of the Prophets does charge a tuition fee as it is a very intensive 9 month program that when completed you will receive a certificate of completion.
